She studied Food Engineering at the Ibero-American University, a Diploma in Corporate Finance at ITAM, a Diploma in Investment Project Evaluation at ITESM and a Management Program "PDD" at IPADE.

She worked in Banking for 25 years, the last 19 years at BBVA Bancomer, where she held different positions, including Director of Corporate Banking in Yucatan, General Director of Mercantile Support (Leasing), Director in the Finanzia Network and Deputy Director of Credit Recovery.
